You guys are morons… AMD Phenom 2 x4 BE can overclock way better then the shitty core 2 quad extreme, and dont even get me started on the core i7 extreme…. that thing gets unstabel and crashes…. 1 grand wasted there man….
3.5GHz!!!! and multiplier unlocked!!!!! intel gets like 3.33GHz on there extreme editions!!!! besides that was an unfair vid… the didnt remove the cap on the Intel ones but he did on the AMD ones….

Do you know what are you talking about? I have two computers with old ones x2 Turion and x2 Athlon.
Athlon is overclocked from 2000 to 2300 with 40 temperatore and Turion is overclocked from 2200 to 2900 with 60 temperature.
They say Phenom 2 x4 is millions times better, than older athlon processors and still cheaper than shitty Intel. -

your all fucking n00bs clock speed between intel and amd have nothing to do with performance…if you havent noticed they both have different microarchitectures therefore speed has nothing to do with it. its like having two managers, one works slower but is more efficient at what he does than the other guy thats twice as fast

@zhatswallace -Thats not true at all. AMD was absolutely destroying Intel with its Athlon 64 Architecture when it came out. The AMD Athlon FX Series made Intel look SLOW in comparison. When I built my previous system which was an AMD Athlon FX-53 ($1,000 chip) with the ATI X850-XT Platinum Edition ($549.99) and 2GB of memory, it DESTROYED every Intel P4 based system of its time. Nothing Intel had could even come close to AMD 64 architecture. They are still being sold today!

@zhatswallace So your ignorant statement that “AMD sucks”- couldn’t be farther from the truth. The game goes back and forth. Like i said previously, the Athlon 64 architecture destroyed Intel’s P4 Extreme Editions with room to spare. Then years later Intel finally caught up and released its Kentsfield Quad Core Architecture and the Core 2 Duo line which put Intel back in the lead. AMD has the fastest Graphics cards on the planet right now and their cheap Phenom II 965′s HAUL ASS.

@acefilms2008 That statement is just as moronic as zhatswallace statement of “AMD sucks” which i already addressed. I have my Intel Core 2 Quad running at 3.6GHZ from a stock clock of 2.4Ghz- so I don’t know where your getting your information but the Core 2 Quads and the i7′s are the best overclockers out there. Before my Intel Quad Core system I had the AMD Athlon FX-53 ($1,000 chip) which kicked ass. Both Companies are incredible at what they do and it goes back and forth.

@illmagnified 1) There’s no way to compare between Intel’s shitty integrated graphics and AMD graphics. We’re talking about processors only. Just take the Intel Core i7 980X and the Phenom X6. The X6 is not even able to try its luck in front of the 980X. It means that Intel has expensive but strong processors. AMD had cheap processors but weak. I can even tell you that the i7 920 eats the Phenom II 965 if you see what i mean.
