Why do computer chairs stop rocking and lock up?
This has happened with both chairs I have owned. They rocked fine when I bought them but suddenly while rocking they will seize up and I cannot move it. Do you know why this is happening, and how to fix it? Thanks.
There is a lever on the right side of the seat. Push it in to the the base and it locks the chair. Pull it out and it should rock again. Be careful though. It’s the same lever used to adjust height, and it’s easy to push it down while you are trying to pull it out, and you will drop like a stone. Hope this helps.
