Will work one SODIMM memory in a laptop that currently has 2 DIMM?

I’m happy about my laptop memory upgrade and now it is 512 MB 333 MHz DDR memory sytem (2 DIMM) 2048MB PC5400 DDR2 667MHZ for one SODIMM memory, and wonder if it will fit in the laptop, and if it is compatible with thinking. Plus its only 32nd 99 after rebate!

anyways ur looking at completely different memory. buy memory thats exactly like the one u got.

the answer is NO

your laptop is DDR NOT DDR2
so the NOTCH in the ram wont fit with the notch in the slot.

you MUST buy DDR ram NOT DDR2 (All SODIMM of course)
