How do I get my HP Pavilion Notebook on my Samsung plasma television to play with a DVI cable?
When I connect my DVI cable to my laptop and TV, the TV will not pick up the “PC” source. Ive tried to put my computer in “TV mode”, but work still does. Any ideas? I’ve even tried lowering the resolution of my computer. . . HELP?
You might have the WRONG type of DVI cable….or the wrong type of DVI signal….
There’s DVI digital (DVI-I) and there’s DVI analog (DVI-A)
LOOK in your TV’s specification page to find out what your TV needs to produce a picture, and then look at your Computer’s Spec page to see what signal it sends out on DVI.
