How router a straight line (in wood)?
I’m straight with a cutter. I want a board track opportunities router, but I want it even all the way down to remain on the board. Who knows how to do this?

Clamp a straightedge to the workpiece and run the router along that. Be sure to run the router from left to right as you face the straightedge. If you run it the other way, the router will push away and may ruin the cut. Another option is to buy an edge guide for your router. They are adjustable, so you can set the router exactly where you want it in the board. Hope this helps.

you want to make ” flutes” easy to do
make a ramp and a guide , is what you need .
ok so you have your guide , usually just a 1×6 clamped to your work piece , and a ramp can be made from some 1x stock as well . you will need to cut it to a very sharp point( band saw on edge) then apply tape to make a smooth transition from work piece to the ramp as you go up the ramp your bit will be raised out of the cut until its completely out . we usually use a round bit and when it comes out it makes a cool looking end .
experiment , where safety glasses and move slowly with your router .
