Acer laptop will not start pink / white stripes?
Hey try, my buddy who has a problem with Acer notebooks to help. Does not start to come only on the screen is vertical pink and white thin stripe at the start. And a wide black stripe in the middle. Some ideas here?
+Are you sure it is not starting up? Is it possible that it IS STARTING up and you can’t see it because the video is bad? Attach it to an external monitor and see if you can see it. If so, then the LCD screen is bad….and that’s bad. The LCD is the most expensive part of the laptop along with the system board. It costs as much as the laptop itself to get it replaced and installed.
Honesty, if that is the case then get another laptop, but stay away from Acer and Gateway. They sell their units so cheaply because they are made with cheap, low quality components that are not meant to last too long after the warranty expires.
