@gilder37 I have Microsoft Windows XP and it is a built in program so that if u install a program, (or one gets installed that u didn’t want) it provides a way to restore your computer back to the way it was before the programs were installed. To use system restore go to Start-All Programs-Accessories-System Tools-System Restore. U can pick the date u want to restore to, or create a restore point. If u have Norton u must turn off Norton Tamper Protection for it to restore.

@mortimer2100 I found this problem quickly after my provider switched from McAfee to Norton. Also, when I get a “windows error” message and I go into the task manager to “end task” in applications, it won’t work. I now have to go into processes in task manager and look for “dumprep.exe” and end process afterwards. A few problems with Norton, but it seems to be a decent protection. Cheers!!
