The whole ‘protect the kids’ thing is a load of krap. That’s just a bullkrap excuse to get people to eat it up. Conroy wants to prevent child porn and other ‘bad’ stuff? How about proper parenting. Here’s another idea, how about preventing or banning POLITICAL CORRUPTION! Na, that won’t happen, the govt doesn’t care about anyone but themselves and their own pockets. Conroy is complete moron that has NO clue about what will work or what the PEOPLE (not the politicians) want.

Of course. I’ve heard all this bullshit excuses before. Dont blame the parents, the internet has child porn, blah blah blah. They know damn well that shit is accessible through peer to peer technology and that’s Stephen Conroys only argument to try and enforce his worthless internet filter by convincing people they act in the interests of the kids. This is simply a form of government control, they are acting in the interests of their religious beliefs because lets face it they dont approve.

What about how to vote! What would be the best option in finding out & obtaining monkey see monkey do approach for voting Conroy out and putting proper suits in place who oppose this! I have many people saying how do I vote, who should I vote for regarding this being stopped. Many just want a template approach, sort of like the ones they try to hand U outside the voting balled by different parties! If I can formulate one I can make a jpeg version so people can print & take with them when voting.

Conroy is starting to push the filter again now that labor is in power! Such a ridiculous idea! there are so many ways to bypass the filter! and the people it is trying to stop are going to find away. Why bother slowing down our current internet and limiting our content? censorshipis.2fear.com – some great student opinions on the filter.
