Question : How can I build a laptop from scratch myself?
I want to know if I can find all the parts needed to build my own laptop. The problem I am afraid is going to be the shell.

It is possible to build a laptop from scratch. The only reason you couldn’t find the screen, case etc. is because they all come in one piece called a barebones. You should be able to find one just by using google. The only problem is that, unlike a custom desktop, the barebones plus other parts are usually more expensive than buying it pre-built from somewhere. There are also stricter limits on ability to customize, so it isn’t quite as fun as a desktop. Regardless, it is undoubtedly possible to build your own laptop, and it shouldn’t be too hard either.

All parts are available from,…. eBay. You just have to make sure they are compatible with your casing, motherboard, etc. Your best bet of a casing is a used broken laptop that doesn’t work anymore. But by then, you’d only be buying parts that are compatible with that casing’s brand… in which case, you’d better be off buying a used or new laptop and forget this whole thing!
