DERA was established to improve air quality in America by the updating and modernization of older diesel engines and equipment replacement engine exhaust gas filter and application of new catalysts. These improvements can reduce emissions from older engines by as much as 90 percent. The National Academy of Sciences calls DERA one of the most profitable of the air quality in the nation.

In November, EPA issue a new request for proposals (RFP) for a request for DERA. The next round of financing is also likely to be used by millions all components together DERA national and state.

Once the tender is issued, EPA officials are forbidden to advise interested parties of their applications.

Accordingly, the Diesel Technology Forum EPA officials to exchange ideas and tips invited us on 5 for the benefit of those who won the award of a grant years ago failed last October.

The Forum and EPA officials for details of the next round of funding and tips DERA grant application reviewers to beneficiaries, their suggestions and found a set that had recently helped present success in this process.
