A console cable, also known as a rollover cable, allows a PC to connect to a Cisco router, switch, firewall, or other device using the PC serial port. The Cisco router has an RJ45 female jack to accept the opposite end of the console cable. Once the physical connection is established, you’ll need to use a program like Hyperterminal to make the connection complete.
Running out of ideas for videos doesn’t make it a good idea to run with the first think that comes to mind. How to choose a cable that is more then often provided with the hardware ? Anybody not knowing how to set up a terminal connection should definitely not be setting up routers and such.
