Where can you buy a cheap notebook computer for like 200 dollars or less?
Question : Where can you buy a cheap notebook computer for like 200 dollars or less?
and i did get a notebook about a year ago at some place that was selling refurbished ones for $ 150. It only comes around once and a while so i can’t go back to that.

i see them go on eby all the time and have bought a few.
here are machines i reccommend:
the toshiba tecra 8000 (kind of dated, but cheaper. avoid the ones with xp installed, win 98 a better choice for this one)

dell latitude c610
A great machine, has a decent graphics chip in it, so it can play a lot of the games that are out today. runs XP great, usually comes with windows 2000 professional installed

i reccomend the dell, more pricer you are probably going to pay close to $ 300 for it but you might get lucky. The toshiba you can get all day long for less than $ 200, parts are plentiful, which is why i reccomend it, it’s not for gaming, but you can surf web, email, etc on it just fine. they are also almost indestuctable.
