How can I hook up both coax cables, one from the digital cable box and one from the VCR all tied together?
Question : How can I hook up both coax cables, one from the digital cable box and one from the VCR all tied together?
I use to have a box that you could switch from one output to another but can’t remember what it’s called. I just want to hook my digital cable box and my VCR to the same TV (both via coax cables) but not have to unscrew one and screw the other one in every time.. Would a 2-way work or is there something else?

Can’t you just connect the cable box to VCR and VCR to the TV? Many VCR’s have input and output on them. If that is not an option you are looking for something like this:

What you’re looking for is an “A-B switch” similar to the ref below. But there’s probably a better way. If your TV has composite input jacks (yellow-red-white), connect those to the composite output (same type jacks) on the VCR. Then, just use your TV’s remote to select between the tuner for the cable box and its composite input for the VCR.

Yes, a 2-way signal splitter will work. Just keep in mind that you will have cable signal loss.
