Then it’s not the right type of ink…
Glossy paper requires ink formulated specifically for the paper being printed on. Ink is designed to penetrate into the layers of the paper and thus adheres and dries properly, but if the ink and paper aren’t matched properly, the ink will just sit on top and won’t properly dry or stick to the paper. You need to buy ink designed for your paper, or paper designed for your ink, or buy them together by matching them to each other so they work together.
Glossy paper is also very likely to stick together due to it’s surface properties and requires good, clean rollers and pads that prevent it from sticking together as it’s fed through the printer. There are also paper specifications that are outside the printer’s capabilities, so make sure the paper you’re using is designed for your printer and within it’s specifications.
Best of luck.
