Question : what is a good printer that takes cheap ink?
The printer i have now is pretty old and the ink cost a lot. So what i’m looking for is a good printer that doesn’t cost a fortune.

Any of the HP printers are good, ink is reasonably priced and they also come with a scanner :P

HP are good but you need the right one. Use this comparison table to see which is the cheapest. http://www.recycleinkcartridges.co.uk – choose the “more ink for your money link”
You will see the the 45a, 78a, 56 & 57 are all very good. The comparison table compares them ml by ml are they all have different levels of ink.

Your question has multiple answers however if you print every other day or so (At least a couple of pages ALL Colors) and don’t print many pages when you do print – then an ink printer is a Good choice.
If you print periodically and/or print larger quantities of paper then Absolutely a toner based printer is your best choice – Even more so if you limit your printing to Black and White.
