WHich is better for gaming: normal laptop, subnotebook, netbook, rugged laptop(haha).?

None of those you listed are the best for gaming. Though gaming computers are mostly desktops which offer better performance, gaming laptops made up of the best laptop components do exist, although they cannot give as much as desktops do and cost a whole lot more at the same time.

A normal laptop is…simply a normal laptop. It contains just about every feature that a regular desktop would, except at either a somewhat lower quality or somewhat higher price.

A subnotebook is an ultra slim, super compact laptop computer with an emphasis on weight and portability. It is not recommended for gaming, since the primary focus is easy luggage, and luxury options for gaming are neglected in order to make it as light and small as possible.

I’m not sure what netbooks are, but judging from the name, they are probably laptops that focus on connecting to the internet or create internet hotspots. Either way, the primary focus is again not gaming.

Rugged laptops are designed to be as sturdy and durable as possible. Once again, the most important aspect is not gaming, but something else, and again, luxury components that would be found in a gaming laptop are once again ditched in favor of pursuing this first goal.

There are many gaming laptops are there that can be found for relatively low prices compared to the 20k dream computers that people hear about now and then. However, you’ll want to buy it from a custom computer company that specializes in the high end section of the market, as mass producers such as Dell and HP use stock parts in their computer, the 90% normal production quality parts that will never get you the performance of the 10% best production quality parts (yes, major computer sellers give you the worst standard parts to make a big profit). Try velocity micro or falcon northwest, I’ve heard that these are particularly high standard companies
