Question : I’ve a Sharp commercial grade fax/copier, needs something – maybe a non-profit cld get Sharp to fix it 4 them?
This is Model F-4650/FO-4970, a real workhorse; I have the operation manual and an extra toner cartridge (they used to run me about $ 65 each). I’ve all but retired and don’t need anything quite this big. I hate to throw it into a landfill when it cost well over $ 1,000, so someone suggested that maybe a non-profit could convince Sharp to fix it for them as a charitable venture. I’m in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, and would deliver it to a local charity. I know Xerox does charitable work in this way, so I thought maybe Sharp would, too, if approached by the non-profit. Figured it was worth posting. Thank you.

Yes worth the investigation. Good idea. Hope you find a home for it. Sounds like a good fax, if fixed.
