Question : Nikon Streamlined Workflow Techniques Class?
Have you attended the Nikon Streamlined Workflow Techniques Class? It’s coming to my area soon and I’m wondering if it’s a worthwhile day. Or, are they teaching you how to use Nikon image software???
Your thoughts in general are appreciated.
Actually, they owe me a free class, but I was just wondering if it was worth taking the day to do it…

I attended it last year here in Zoniland
It was full of good information, but if you have one, take enough paper and a few pen’s to capture all the highlights.
We learned all about “real” editing programs like iPhoto, iView, Photo Mechanic and Lightroom.
Yes, there are some good pointers on both NX and Photoshop. … and Nikon is there so you can play with most of their latest equipment, cameras and lenses

Sam, I am sure you’ll find some useful info but I always treat the educational stuff by major imaging companies with some scepticism… too often in the past they have twisted their message to support product-driven propaganda… to the point of losing it completely.
I won’t write down details on the YA forum but you’re always welcome to contact me… if I was you I’d go, but with your eyes wide open and be prepared to ask some awkward questions!

i have never taken one, and now i don’t think my lovely and talented wife would let me go after seeing fhotoace’s answer, i’d be drooling all over their cameras, besides our digital slr is olympus, though we do have a 35mm nikon slr that serves very well also.
