Question : What are good recording programs on the computer?
I made a huge PowerPoint presentation, and now I need to upload it to Youtube. What are some good programs that I can use to live record the presentation as it plays so I then can post it on Youtube?
I know of Windows Movie Maker. I imported all of the slides separately, but I can’t figure out how to change the timing on each frame. Any answer to either problem would be nice.

Look at TOOLS>OPTIONS>Advanced tab
You can change the picture duation
You can change the Transition duration
It will take much time if you use Windows Movie Maker to generate a video for your PowerPoint. And all the animations and transitions in your PowerPoint will be lost.
In fact, you can try some other tools to help you directly convert your PowerPoint to a video with all things in the original PPT retained.
The best video formats recommended by YouTube are MPEG-2and MPEG-4. Recommended video resolution is 640×480 (4:3 SD) and 1280×720 (16×9 HD).
