Should a crossover cable be used when connecting 2 cisco switches?

generally a crossover is used
Crossover cable is used between devices that use the SAME pin to transmit and receive.
Straight through cable is used between devices that use DIFFERENT pin to transmit and receive.
Devices that transmit on pin 1,2 and receive on pin 3,6:
PC’s NIC, Router, Wireless Access Point.
Devices that transmit on pin 3,6 and receive on pin 1,2:
Hub, Switch.
Ex: PC’s NIC and Router use the same pin. So, we need to use crossover to connect them.
Router and Switch use different pin. So, we need to use straight through between them.
Between Switches, we need to use crossover cable.
(those 2 switches are SAME type of device; so, they transmit and receive on the same pin)
