Question : How do I clean toner out of a cast iron bathtub?
Hi! I was changing the toner for my fax in the bathtub (it tends to explode when you finally get it apart) and it is all over the place! What is the best way to clean it out?

If it is the tub, put on the shower head and let it go down the drain.
A regular vacuum can be ruined and also make the toner go airborne which is no good for your lungs. There are special vacuums for toner.
Toner is messy when wet so anything outside the tub can be picked up with a moistened paper towel.

I work on copiers for a living and dry toner is ground plastic. The best way to clean it is with a vacuum, however remember that some toner is very fine so depending on your vacuum you may get some misting. Also if you use cold water and a rag it will work. use cold water because hot will cause the toner to start to melt and make it more difficult to clean… good luck
