Is it better to buy inexpensive laptops frequently or expensive laptops infrequently?
Question : Is it better to buy inexpensive laptops frequently or expensive laptops infrequently?
I intend to buy a Dell Vostro (Turion 1.8GHz) that’s a lot cheaper than the Dell Inspiron (Core 2 Duo 1.8GHz). My needs are mostly surfing the Net and coding in C#.

i dont know what coding in C# is but if your mainly doing basic stuff – surfing the web or typing, the vostro would be the better choice and its cheaper
I buy a laptop under $ 800 and change out laptops every 2-3 years because they get outdated so fast. I usually get around half of what I paid so the depreciation isn’t so bad.
My recommendation to you is not to look at the Vostro 1000 avoid the Turin processor go to the Vostro 1400 or the Vostro 1500. You can get the 1400 for under $ 700 right now
