Question : What is a great video Editing software for Free!!?
ok here’s the thing I do videos for youtube but they are pretty plain so I want to know what kind of FREE software that I can download that allows me to add sound effect and other effects and cool things for my videos??

use windows movie maker (included in your windows machine)… it can help you make beautiful slideshow or video clip(e.g. mixing your songs with pictures/video/lyric/etc)…. then save it as video file such as wmv file format… finally upload.
or .. Just get those clips you want , save & convert them, and then mix/match with pix/sound/etc using windows movie maker to create new masterpieces….
this will help you…. Use ‘zillatube’. This is the easiest (and also the fastest) way.
Zillatube produces mpg/mp3 formats from youtube that are compatible with windows movie maker(or media player), and more.
It is very easy to download and convert videos. Then edit those converted mp3/mpg videos with windows movie maker… save your file as wmv and then upload.
It works very well….just google search for “zillatube”

Hey there,
If you’re on a PC, then you should already have Windows Movie Maker installed.
Otherwise, you might like to take a look at these free programs:
Videospin (funky interface, easy to use, cool title features)

http://www.videothang.comFor something more complex, take a look at Zs4. It has a steeper learning curve, but has the capabilities for over 150 effects.

Well, if you have a Mac, which I’m guessing you don’t, iMovie is included, which is kind of like a version of Windows Movie Maker, but a hell of a lot better!
As for free video-editing software, there is none that I could recommend.
And, honestly, if you’re into editing videos, you should invest in a Mac!
