Question : Can anyone tell me where I could get POS software for free or at low cost?
I have 2 Computers, 2 voyager 9500 series scanners, 2 epson u220 reciept printers with appropriate keyboards and cash drawers. I would like to hook them up at the counter and have my office computer be the server. How do I go about getting the software and installing the setup?

Do I need to get a portable code scanner to do inventory or should I rent one?
I live in Canada and we have 2 taxes GST & PST. Can I make any US program do to taxes?

If you go to www.downloads.com and do a search for pos there are a few programs out there. You can try them before you buy them to see if you like them.

There is a good program out there on EBay called Manage More. The program is not just POS it does inventory, billing and accounting. Just do a search for Manage More at EBay. It is only for a single license though. If you buy the same program through their website it is about $ 600 when on EBay they sell it for $ 25
