okay, so I already asked a question, but I need a little help
I have a MDG durabook, but it’s not the best laptop…the space is broken (you have to press hard to make it work) also the laptop is very slow due to all the work loaded on it. The software is old as well. I want to know how much the repair is going to cost, is it going to cost me a new one?

If you have had it for more than 2 years then you most likely have gotten your monies worth. Your best bet is to go out and get yourself another computer. These days you can find an inexpensive one for around $ 300, but again you get what you pay for. An easy fix would be to go out and buy an external keyboard if your not willing to give this laptop up.

The price for new laptops has come down dramatically. Its amazing how great and really fast and powerful the hardware is nowadays. I wouldn’t spend a nickle on the repairs. Go with new, and grab your data off the old one and move on. Yes, I’ve learned from experience, and put tons of money into laptop repairs, and have gotten about one month of use, which was a TOTAL bummer.

For one, you didn’t ask a question it was a statement with a ? mark at the end, that doesn’t make it a Question.
Secondly, The keyboard is an average of 75 bucks. Your can do it yourself and there is a lot of instructional videos/websites that you can look for. If you have a lot of files you can clear it up by deleting ones you don’t want or need; and getting an external hard drive, or a flash drive; Clearing Cookies and Temporary folders. Check your “My Downloads” or “My Revived files” sometimes there are files that you don’t need. Make sure this is only with in My Documents, and not the program files. You can find updates for software online.
However if it is an old computer and you have the money, I would recommend just upgrading. Sometimes it’s a pain waiting for the kits to come in and finding the right thing to upgrade too, sometimes costing money anyways.
The flash drive/external hard drive should be a must anyways, it keeps space open on the computer and backs things up.
