I’m thinking a OLED screen with touchscreen capabilities would the next step because it’s thin and very flexible. Light blue optics would be great if it wasn’t for the fact that certain lighting conditions have to be met in order to see good quality images and videos. Also seeing my shadow block some of the images (such as a keyboard) would bother me to no end.

That’s not quite what i meant :) Imagine you are drawing a circle with your mutlitouch setup. you put your index finger at the center of the circle and with ur middle finger you trace out the outer edge. At some point, the tips of your fingers and the IR source will be co-linear. That is you can draw a straight line through where the index finger and middle finger touch the table and the light source. This will obviously cause one of the fingers to cast a shadow on the other. - Comment Feed for this Post
uh, yeah, the ipad is not like I thought it would be but I dont see this tech ever catching on.
