Question : What happens to my medical records if my physician no longer practices medicine?
I am 28 and trying to obtain my medical records from birth until now. I have access to get the records from age 17-28 but am having trouble locating my “younger” days. I know the name of my doctors from that time period but neither of them are still practicing, so how do I go about locating these records?
it might also help to add what state the doctors are in…the state is Michigan. Thanks

They should hold them in record for a year
