If you’ve been considering a 0 netbook solely because it’s an inexpensive way to nab a functional laptop, Hewlett-Packard, in combination with Wal-Mart, has a compelling alternative: a “real” laptop. The Compaq Presario CQ62 is a full-size 15.6-inch laptop with an AMD dual-core processor, available at a beyond-bargain price of just 8 (starting this Sunday, June 13, 2010). That’s less than you’d pay for a refurbished notebook with lesser specs from those deal-a-day sites (or about what you’d pay for a netbook with a fraction of the performance). The catch: It is missing some features now common even on budget laptops, and it’s available only at Wal-Mart while supplies last. @pdani72 i think it was the processing speed of my laptop since graphically it performed fine even when running a gamecube emulator the frame rate was 10-20 do u think i should upgrade the processors i know its possible but i dont wanna put money into it and its a wasted effort do you kno if the graphics card is seperate or intergrated

@PS3EAT3R gamecube emulator is like almost 15 years old!! It should work on an 2010 laptop!
but, here is your awnsers:

No. keep that you got. Check settings.“do you kno if the graphics card is seperate or intergrated”
All laptop´s graphics cards are integrated. IF you want to change, you have to change the motherboard, CPU in order to change GPU.Very expensive do not go in that way.

Nice little unit, use it for on the go emails, banking & navigation, (trucking) Able to watch tv shows, perfer BIG screens for movies. Rumor has it, Wallyworld sold these for 250, smoking deal. Internet Explorer beta 9 will not work with microsoft streets & trips 2010. The “show bing map” feature in navigation will not forward address. Globalsat bu-353 gps receiver, do not download gpsinfo program, pain in the ass. Do not download Microsoft silverlight, tracks address’s, no web cam.

Upgraded to Adobe flash player “square” 32 bit, works with windows 64 bit. Liked Internet explorer 9 beta, however, like the “show bing map” feature, stuck with 8. Personally, I would wait for the smoke to clear on “Beta.” Adobe flash player is working on an 64 bit beta program. Get it together, some great HD effects, almost blu-ray, j/k. So far, so good, haven’t done the drop test, yet. “Bigger is not alway’s better” small enough to sit on my lady’s lap, navigating down the highways.
