I have Verizon Online DSL.modem Westell Versalink Model 327W.How do I connect another computer to it?

I used to work for verizon dsl tech support! You are lucky my friend. The Westell Versalink 327 is a modem/router combo. On the back there are 4 ports labled E1,E2,E3,E4….you connect up to 4 computers by buying an ethernet cable and attaching the other computer to one of those 4 slots..any will work..if you’re doing it wirelessly, your computer/laptop will need a wireless card. If you have a bestbuy geeksquad in your area they can help you set it up or even send somone out.

First find out if you’re dhcp or pppoe. dhcp is an automatic connection, just plug in the other computers and hit the reset button for 20 seconds on the back, if you’re pppoe you’ll need to access the modem and put your username and password in it. a verizon dsl tech over the phone can help you out or you can go to 192.168.1.1 and log in, use admin/password to access, then change the defaults all to admin, click the blue disconnect button then ‘profile editor’ put in admin/admin hit ok, then ‘edit’ put in your username/password, hit save, powercycle all devices and download till ya sleep.
