Sure, it will work, but if the paper is dark the copy will have a shadow which might make it more difficult to read – but more importantly, waste valuable ink. Best to photocopy copy which has been printed on white paper.
Yes, I have a HP Color Laserjet 4550 that prints BEAUTIFUL color and if you want to IMPRESS rather than using plain white bond 20 LB 90 bright paper, if you STEP up to thicker weight, professional HP Brochure or HP Matte quality, absolutely GORGEOUS!
Paper is paper and the price is determined by weight and brightness etc and any COPIER (Color or Black/White) will accept as long as not thick like a cardboard bec as I understand process, paper goes through drum and TONERs (Black, Magenta, Cyan, Yellow) are burnt onto paper…
