is the cable used in router for laptops and PCs the same with PS3?
Question : is the cable used in router for laptops and PCs the same with PS3?
this is my first time connecting my PS3 to the net… i know the cable for the ps3 is ethernet cable, but i dont know if its the same with the one they use with PCs and laptops for connecting with a router… is it the same or is it different? or should i try a wireless router? is wireless router better than the one with cable or vice versa? thanks for those who will answer my question!

It is definitely the same cable: Ethernet (RJ-45). A router will only benefit you if you have multiple computers and/or you intend to use wireless devices. Typically a router is always better than the default cable modem.
