Question : how do you load a document from scanner unto word processor such as a document where you can type on it and pr?
I need to fill in the blanks on a document and would rather type it in than write it in, how to I scan it to my word processor

I have an experienced on that and found it not to be possible except if you cut the form from pdf and paste in word then use the text box to fill out the forms. It’s a long process but that’s the only thing that works.
BTW I tried converting it into word but gibberish characters exist making me put a lot of editing and realignment.

If it’s only letters and numbers you can use an OCR (text recognition) program to convert your image to text, but that’s not so reliable on complicated documents.
Try this: scan your document as a JPEG or similar format image file. Then copy the image into Microsoft Word and stretch it to the whole page. Make sure the image properties are set to “Square” or “Behind Text” in order to stretch it for the whole screen.
Create a text box and stretch it to the correct size and location and type your words. You might have to right-click/properties or double-click on the outline of the text box to make there be no border or fill color. Make sure the text box is above the image. Do this for every place you need to. This is probably the best way in your situation unless you print and write it in. - Comment Feed for this Post
I do that rather frequently and my preference is to scan and save as a PDF File. While Adobe Pro can be used a cheaper option is PDF Converter Professional. Once saved an option is available to automatically convert Fill-in Blanks to edible fields. You can then email, print or fax the document as needed.
