Plotting Cad Files?
Question : Plotting Cad Files?
So im using Autocad 2004, trying to print out a drawing that is 36 by 24, and my plotter is loaded to print that form. But when i select the plotter then try to select a paper size is does not list any of the options to print a large sheet. Does anyone know how to kinda import a paper size or something?

YES.
the plot command…
the plot device tab…choose your plotter…
the properties button…
the custom properties button…
that opens the settings for your printer…
you should be able to click the paper size and find the size you want or choose the add from the bottom of the list…
then OK…and save the custom properties with a new name.
Go to the printer and fax folder where you install new printers.
Right click on the plotter and go to properties. Under the properties there should be a tab for sheet standards. Click on all of the sizes you would like. then next time when you plot they should be there. this works on a HP DesignJet 800PS 42 by HP. I guess it all depends on the plotter. Good luck
