How do I change the mouse pad sensitivity on my labtop?
Question : How do I change the mouse pad sensitivity on my labtop?
Under the settings menu it give me all options except change the sensitivity, any ideas on how to fix this. I basically have to press down hard on the mouse pad to work.

maybe someone set it to slow so it feels like you have to press down hard. First check the mouse speed.
(Because there’s so many Windows OS currently being used, I can’t instruct on exactly one version of Windows)
Get to the mouse settings in the Control Panel. It should be under the “Hardware and Sound” category.
Click the Pointer Options and see if the speed is on slow. If it is on the center to fast, then the mouse pad might be defective.
Also make sure you installed the mouse driver that came with the laptop. If it’s all installed, the speed is fine, them the mouse pad itself might be defective.
Click start>>>control panel(classic view)>>>double click mouse>>>device settings tab. There you will see a button that says settings, click this. On the left side of the screen you will see a window that has categories with little + signs next to them, click the + next to sensitivity. then click touch sensitivity and adjust accordingly.
