Question : Ok so I am planning to buy a new desktop…read the details?
Like i said, I am planning to buy a new desktop. I am planning to use it for the following purposes
1. Editing Stuff such asvideos, music, photos etc
2. Virtualization ( Virtual Machines)
3. A little bit of gaming
4. Ordianry stuff such as browsing, using MS Office, Internet messanging
And one more thing- I usually have many windows open for the stuff mentioned above.
So here is my question, which is better for me, a desktop that has AMD or a one that has Intel? Also, can you suggest a model or brand of the processor you suggest, cause I am dumb with those things?

it all depends. if you are going to be a huge gamer with lots of stuff in ur hard drive, i suggest like a high speed computer. If your going to do what you wanna do, i would suggest just like a regular house computer everyone has with lots of hard drive gb.
Depends on your budget. I would always suggest one to get Intel but some go for AMD. If you’re going for AMD then you can get the AMD X2 4200 and if you’re planning for Intel then E5200 is enough for you. If you want to do Virtualisation then you need a better proccy. Get the Intel Core 2 Quad 6600 or AMD Phenom X4 which will be perfect for the job. But still, Intel any day.
