Question : Whats the difference between a dual core processor and an athlon X2 processor?
I want to buy a laptop but i’m unsure of what an athlon processor is. In the past i’ve had dual core processors and those have been fine for me. One laptop offers me Pentium dual core T2390 1.86GHz whilst another offers me Athlon X2 QL-60 1.9GHz, for the same price. Which one should i buy? What’s the difference between them?

The Athlon X2 is a dual core processor, so no difference at all.

There isn’t much to choose between the Intel Pentium and that these days.
