Question : Employee or Student Discounts on Laptops/ Computers?
Does Dell really give discount on their laptops or computers ?

Dell don’t give any discount what so ever… what they say is only on paper and using word “discount”.

I tried to research both way using the Dell’s Employee Purchase Program EPP and Dell lounge student discounts. Infact, sometimes they charge more on EPP than on regular price.

I found out following in my research with Dell 17 laptop and Dell 15.

Dell 15″ : Regular website 1019 Dell EPP: 1154
Dell 17″: Regular website 844 Dell Student Univ. 840

Stay away from Dell !

*Sony is best but more costly with same features.

*HP is better and best deal…reasonably good discount plus all the features.
