As a South African i know how screwed up telkom is, but i been hearing word of new ISPs and watwat. Some dude told me bout FNB connect, and I was just wondering. How do you get really cheap internet?
Is there a service out there I don’t know about……………………………

rather check webafrica’s IS account it cheaper than telkom and you get 2gb international bandwidth and 28gb local. now here’s the awesome part if you can keep your connection alive you can actually use more than the 2gb, i do on average 20gb international bandwidth per month and don’t pay a penny more.
You still need a Telkom ADSL line to access FNB connect… line rental is already R90 and you have to pay for installation.
I would suggest going straight for Neotel, make sure they have coverage in your area (you did not mention where you live). You can get 1.5GB data for R299 per month including the wireless router. Out of bundle data is only 8cents per MB which is really cheap.
Neotel is the future for South African telecommunication, so jump on the high bandwidthwagon! hahaha
