Step down transformer will do the job With sufficient wattage.
pretty simple.
buy the cheapest working microwave you can find.
take it apart. remove the transformer
keep the primary (the 120 volt side) and remove the secondary (the high voltage side). re wind the secondary with 4 gauge magnet or other lightly insulated copper wire. connect to an 1 amp 120 volt supply and test output voltage.
if you bought an 1200 watt microwave, this is 10 amps current on the 120 volt side. If you have a 24 volt output, you get up to 50 amps power. if you go for 12 volts output, you get up to 100 amps power.
I have no idea how you’re gonna rectify 100 amps if you need it in DC voltage. Maybe capacitors?
