Question : Can I share files through a wired ethernet router without the internet?
It’s basically all said in the title. I’m running two windows XP computers, one home and one professional. I’m looking to share files through them with my D-Link router. Please help! Thanks

In short, yes of course you can. You can easily setup a local network that isn’t wired to an outside internet line. You can learn how to do with by searching for information regarding setting up a local network.

Then if you add both computers to the same workgroup, then you can specify which folders/files you’d like to make visible to other computers plugged into your local network.
