KILLER NIC
network interface card
This is a commercial by 689 Design. It was created for the Killer Network Interface Card. We were going for the grainy, surreal thing… whilst maintaining a good connection with Gamers. The card absolutely rules on games like Counter Strike and WOW. Check out the site KillerNIC.com for more info. Let us know what you think!

I only paid $98 for mine and this card is awesome. Not only does it reduce lag by atleast 10% It gives me better framerates as well. Also you can attach a USB harddrive to the card it’s self (There’s a USB port on the card) and download torrents with the spare bandwidth. Also get a router that dosen’t suck or just don’t share internet with your fratmates

if you can afford it, yes
they arent cheap, but they are effective
most people that whine about it are just poor. they buy the bare minimum to get their games running
a killer is a purely optional upgrade, not like the other parts of the pc that are required
but it does work, and it can lower latency and improve framerates

It has been explained in dozens of reviews and all over the website for the product
They use hardware interupts to bypass the windows network stack
This free’s up CPU resources which are than available to better manage other aspects of your system and games.
So yes, it can improve FPS. Do even the slightest bit of research and you will find 3rd party reviews explaining that.
