Question : How do I hook up my VCR and SEPARATE DVD player to Dish Cable?

My DVD player and my VCR are two seperate pieces. They are not the new ones that are all in one. So, I need to know how to hook up the DVD player and the VCR to the Dish Cable.

Dish receiver to VCR to DVD player to TV. Keep the VCR and DVD players off (they’ll pass the input signal to the output) unless you’re using one of them.

Use the “antenna” input on each, and the “tv” output with the same kind of connector.

Watch all of it on channel 3 (or whatever channel the individual boxes use – most are 3, some are 4 and some can be switched).
