Question : How to make a perfect 2 inch hole on a photo paper?
How to make a perfect 2 inch hole on a photo paper
I need both the circle that was made from the cutting
and the photo that it was cut from.

so basicly both have to be neat.

1. get a compass (set points 1 inch apart)
2. get a stanley knife – small blade
3. attach (super glue, tape, whatever) small blade from stanley knife to the compass (where you usually put the pencil) Cover the sharp centre point with glue-tak to hold it in place without making a mark
4. cut away

If you can go to a scrapbooker’s store that would be best. You can pay a small amount and they will help you die cut the circle and you don’t have to buy the equipment.

or- try: – get a piece of tracing paper and use a compass to draw the 2 inch circle. register this over the photo- which you have taped down to a light table, if possible. or on a smooth hard surface. Use a really hard pencil or ballpoint pen to trace the outline of the circle Through the tracing paper so you get an indented line on the photo), with a single line. use a steady hand and an x-acto knife with a #11 blade to cut out the circle.

or- make two photos that are identical. using a compass, trace and cut the circle out of one photo. register the image with the second photo, and use the cut out circle as a guide to trace and cut out the circle which will not have a hole in the center from the compass.

or- scan the photo and put it in photoshop. Cut the circle in photo shop . print out the positive and negative images and then cut on the very exact photoshop outline.

go to a scrapbooking supply or art store and ask for a die cutter that fits your needs. it will punch out a precise circle. other scrapbooking tools could also work, like these…..

Tin cookie cutter, board, hammer. Put the cookie cutter on the photo, board underneath. Tap it with the hammer until you get a clean cut. You can buy circular cookie cutters in cooking stores.
