Question : Can my PC usage be monitored while my Cisco VPN client is NOT running on my company laptop? I am wondering if?
I am wondering if activity (internet, Application) can be monitored while i am using my laptop and not connected to the company server via VPN but still connected to the internet?
Specifically, the log-in and password info for online finance sites, and files downloaded via P2P

Generally no. But I would check with your company regulations. Some companies will only provide you a laptop ONLY for uses that benefit the company.

If key logging bot is employed, Yes.

When you are not connected a logging software can record the information and then send it back when you are connected to the company VPN.

depends on the company, depends on the laptop. I would say no, they can’t monitor you, that’s how it is for most. I know someone who does that and he says the company can track it but don’t care so idk.
