Problem is the yellow wouldn’t print. Put in new complete set and only prints black and blue.

I’m of the opinion that we shouldn’t pass things that don’t work properly to charity. Is it possible to fix the problem first before giving it away?
If I am were on the receiving end, the cost of repair or the cost of inefficient printing (buying a full colour set for effectively black&white printing only) would be a turn off and your contribution could end up being a white elephant.
disclose the problems, and ask the charity if they would want it.
they might not be able to take it if it needs repair, since the cost to repair (sadly) is probably more than a new one costs these days.
