Question : Connect vista laptop to Ubuntu Linux desktop for internet?
Can i make a bridge connection from vista to ubuntu linux? Also, i have an xp laptop, would that work as well? If so, please tell me how! Thank you!

Use Linux for the bridge. Install the bridge utils package. You’ll have to reboot the Ubuntu machine. Also dual homing Linux is quite simple while dual homing windoze can be fraught with peril. So again Linux will be a much better choice.
You’ll also want to install and configure Squid.
Only glanced at the two links I included but at a glance they look reasonably detailed and will at least get you started. I’ve never done this with Ubuntu but it was mostly painless doing this with Fedora. I doubt Ubuntu would be much more difficult.
