What is a very simple firewall that I can use to control internet rights for programs on my computer?
Question : What is a very simple firewall that I can use to control internet rights for programs on my computer?
Perhaps I must be clearer. I am not going to use zone alarm that mucks up my system start up (although it is a very nice firewall program). A router is not going to aide me at all when it comes to blocking the programs on my hard disk.
What I need is a lite firewall program that I can customize what my CPU is processing. Something similar to zone alarm, but not as heavy, so to type.

You cant do better then Comodo Pro firewall, its free, very strong, and low on resources.

ZoneAlarm Free Firewall is the best for most PCs by far. But if you prefer Comodo Free edition that works as well.
ZoneAlarm can be found securely downloaded from http://www.download.com/
I can’t recall where Comodo comes from at the moment.
