@sonic911 I concur with you. The problem has existed since the 80s as there are no agreed upon PC gaming standards. At least with a console game I’m 99.99% certain it will work.

I got GRID on Nintendo DS because I wanted a racing game that WASN’T Mario Kart, but in some cases copy protection is fun. Not in this case…

@sicknecro You do realise copy protection EXISTS IN ALL COPIES? Even the so-called “cracked” versions. Take a look at Spyro 3 that was cracked by Paradox. Zoe (the fairy that zaps you to save your game) will tell you that you have an illegal copy of the game… it was cracked yes.

Also, torrents are only good for getting LEGIT free OSes quicker. I got Kubuntu Desktop 10.10 via a torrent.
