Question : Cable VS Satellite?
We currently have Time Warner cable and just upgraded to digital. I am so furious with the service from Time Warner that I am debating on switching to Dish Network or another satellite company. I know they both run about the same amount of money, but there are a few things that I want to know about satellite. TWC box reboots by itself about every 4 hours…not sure why and it’s a big pain in the butt and takes up to 5 minutes to get my show back and starts up again on channel 2. Does satellite have this issue? Also with TWC we get the option of having another channel in a smaller box and switching from one to the other. Can you do this with satellite? Thanks for any comments or suggestions.

I’ve had both, but the only cable I’ve ever had was Comcast. I’ve never had your problem with Comcast. I personally liked Satellite, but at least once every 4 or 5 months I had to go up on the roof and play with the Satelite for a few hours to get it to work. I don’t know if it’s because I’m from New England and the clouds/snow distrupted but it annoyed me enough that I went back to cable.
