Bet on direct fiberoptic cable service to the home. Fiber has the biggest possible bandwidth of anything currently available or contemplated. That will allow for higher speeds and more expanded services that the other providers won’t be able to match. As fiber infrastructure is expanded, more customers will come on board, enabling the providers to further increase offerings at reasonable costs.
Very difficult to see into the future. Usually it’s best to wait till you get there. They both are doing all sorts of things to improve their service, but some people feel G4 may be better than all of the existing technologies so we’ll have to wait to see how that may be deployed.
